Dedicated to serve. Directed by God. Witnessing restoration to a dying world.
A Word from the Pastor's Desk.....
There are many professing Christians who do not know their calling and need to have the assurance of what God intends for them to do as believers. (2 Peter 1:10)-Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall. We must ask ourselves what things are required of us to do? We must add to our faith. (2 Peter 1:5)- In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God's promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.
It is the Lord who places within ones heart the desires that will please Him. However, it is up to every born again believer to act upon those desires in order to fulfill the purpose that God intends for them.
Whenever God is giving direction for our lives, He will inspire each individual via the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit will always approve what is pleasing to God the Father by the written Word. The gifts and talents that a person possesses will make the purposes of the Lord seem easy. Whom the Lord calls He also equips to do that in which He has called him/her to do. God is not the author of confusion.
(1 Corinthians 14:33)- 33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. As we seek the wisdom of God and allow the Holy Spirit to lead us into our calling, we will have peace in our spirit to assure us that we are in the will of God. Prayer is the key that will unlock the doors for every born again believer to join in the plan that assures us of His eternal purpose. It is important for all believers to be active in their calling in order to promote the kingdom of God. Let us seek the Lord with diligence regarding our calling and election. God is faithful and will uphold us in well-doing. Be encouraged in the Lord and know that He is mindful of you. May the Lord bless you richly!
